Buur&Berg marks a new chapter on the historic Sint-Anna site in Sint-Truiden. The neighborhood offers a unique combination of living, working and enjoyment. The goal? To create connections between people, generations and caring initiatives. We developed a branding that suits all target groups while radiating the necessary freshness. That same win-win was also our starting point for the website.
Buur&Berg is a multi-phase project. Everything starts with informing about the project and visualizing its construction. This is followed by selling the residential homes and reserving places at the various care facilities. The final phase focuses on community building for the residents.
The website had to be able to anticipate this evolution. That's why we chose Drupal. This open-source CMS is flexible towards future developments and integrations. In addition, it is very easy to build and modify content pages, thanks to the well-known paragraph system.
For the same reason, the contact form also has extensive mail settings. Depending on the subject visitors contact Buur&Berg about, a mail will be sent to the right person. From healthcare facilities to property developers.
Given the high visibility of this project - many people pass by the site canvases, which also feature the url - the website must function flawlessly on a smartphone. Whereas on desktop we provide many visual hints to the logo, on mobile we put more emphasis on usability, with fewer references. That way, the website is just like Buur&Berg itself: accessible to everyone.
