Audit based on objectives

We start with your objectives. We formulate them on multiple levels, for example, using the OKR method (Objectives & Key Results). We define a higher-level goal (or objective) that we aim to achieve through various KPIs (or key results). For example: the objective is to increase your sales. We work on that based on 3 key results: increasing your brand awareness, a higher product consideration, and acquiring more new customers. This way, every action and adjustment we make later in our plan always contributes to your objectives.

Once we have defined the goals, we analyze your entire digital strategy. We begin with your technical setup and tools. This includes website tracking, website analysis, data and dashboarding, and your tools for marketing, email, and CRM automation. Next, we look at your owned media, such as your website, social media, content marketing, and SEO, as well as your paid media, like your current advertising channels. Finally, we check how your main competitors perform on these points.

Phased plan of action

Based on the audit, we create a plan of action with 3 phases: streamline, upgrade and transform. In the first phase, we set up the tools and configure the data needed to start and follow up on our plan. In the second phase, we create a base activation plan to build on in the next phase. This base can include both owned and paid media: optimization of your SEO, website and social media, a schedule for your email and marketing automation, always-on paid media (e.g. Google Search) ...

In the third and final phase, we reinforce the activation plan. For example, we can look for partnerships with influencers, test new advertising channels, expand your website or deploy additional tools (e.g. an advanced email or CRM tool). Each test undergoes a thorough evaluation. Based on the results, we can then take action and adjust the plan.

Impressive work for Maasmechelen Village

Previously, Maasmechelen Village used our digital audit. This led to a complete overhaul of their campaign targeting and of their campaign structure and approach in Google, Meta and Programmatic, focusing on a simplified structure for top performance. We also developed a full-funnel approach focused on conversions (becoming a Village Member and visiting the Village) and, together with the Maasmechelen Village marketing team, ensured maximum alignment between marketing communications (such as emails and social posts) and paid media campaigns.

Moreover, every quarter we reviewed the budget distribution together in function of the business priorities, marketing planning, campaign performance and the right media mix. Thanks to this strategic and flexible collaboration and frequent communication, we were able to present great results after 7 months: compared to the previous year, the CPM (cost per mille) and CPA (cost per action) had decreased by 25% and 30% respectively, while the CTR (click-through rate) had increased by 100%.

Interested in our digital audit?

We always start with an intake meeting to gain access to the necessary tools and accounts and to gather input around your goals and the current status of your digital strategy. This is followed by the audit. Once that's done, we sit down again to go over the audit and the plan of action. We then define concrete actions and put them on a timeline. We also agree on a working method that everyone agrees on. Curious about what our digital audit can do for you?
